If you wish to arrange hotel pick-up, please contact us at least 72 hours before the day of your tour. The exact time of your hotel pick-up will depend on the location of your hotel and may be up to 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time.

Leaving Rome in a northerly direction and crossing the green valley of the Tiber river, we will pass the slopes of the Apennines which are covered with olive groves and vineyards before seeing the famous valley of Chianti and finally arriving in Florence bordering the banks of the Arno river. The city tour will start with a visit to the Academy Museum where we will see the magnificent David by Michelangelo and then, continuing on foot with our local guide to see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the beautiful dome by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery, Giottos Bell tower. Then we will reach Piazza della Signoria, the very "heart of Florence".
Lunch in a typical Florentine restaurant. After lunch, we will then continue to the Piazza Santa Croce, with the splendid church of Santa Croce where great artists as Michelangelo are buried. Then we will have the opportunity to visit one of the leather schools in order to admire one of the typical crafts of the city, here we will have some free time to discover some of the other ancient crafts such as mosaics and goldsmiths. Departure from Florence at approximately 5,00 pm for the return journey to Rome. Return to or nearby your hotel.

Additional information
During the visits we would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes and to wear sunglasses and sunhats in the summer months to avoid any risk of sunstroke. And don’t forget your camera!

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations of tour bookings are subjected to a cancellation fee according to the following scale: For tour packages: - For cancellations more than 30 days before arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 10% of the total amount. - For cancellations from 29 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 30% of the total amount. - For cancellations from 14 to 2 days prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 50% of the total amount. - For cancellations beyond this time limit, after arrival dates & no-show the total amount will be charged. For regular city tours: For cancellations at least 9 days before arrival: will be charged a penalty corresponding to handling fee of Eu. 10,00 per person. For cancellations at least 8 days before arrival: will be charged a penalty corresponding to 30% of the total amount. For cancellations from 7 days to 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 50% of the total amount. For cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival the total amount will be charged. All cancellations shoul be notified in writing and confirmed by Argiletum Tour. Argiletum Tour will not be resposible for cancellations not confirmed charging client with total amount.
